Which Internet of Things(IoT) protocols to choose?

MQTT, CoAP, SNMP, LwM2M?

MQTT seems to be the de facto choice. However, some feedbacks that it has lacked two main features.

1. A prioritized delivery especially for alarms or mission critical messaging.
2. A point-to-point, multi-stage communication between peers.

With these being said, some MQTT provider has added priority in their MQTT protocol. For example, Hivemq. Some has provided the plain TCP/IP protocol instead for the IOT apps.

For the IOT apps we have built for the customers, we have provided TCP/websocket to address the above issues.
